Stuart has spent the last 3 months rehearsing and rehearsing and rehearsing and singing in the shower in preparation of Savior of the World. Savior of the World is about...well the Savior of our World. The first act is about before his birth and the second act is about after his death. Stuart portrayed the Apostle Andrew and was the understudy for Thomas. KatieJo and I only saw him perform Thomas at both matinée performances. Thomas was a much bigger role which also included some solos.
Not only has he been rehearsing, he's also been growing a beard in anticipation for about 5 months. Suffice it to say his beard doesn't grow very fast.
Tonight was the last performance and in celebration we shaved his beard off! He got home at approximately 10:10 and it was off by 10:15!
Here is the before picture....looking all pretty with his makeup on. KatieJo brought him a necklace tonight and told him he needed to wear it with his makeup. She barely made it through her sentence without busting up laughing!
And here he is with his fresh newly shaved face and new haircut.
YAY for razors!
Now that he won't have practice everyday we can move onto more important things like packing and MOVING to a new house...can't wait!!!

He definitely looks much younger without it but most men do. I'm glad you are going to be able to start packing for the move now. Maybe we'll chat soon. So much to tell you about life in Iowa...okay in my life...starting a job and all that ;)
Wow! I won’t be able to recognize him now. But I’m glad that the play is done and you can enjoy having your husband back.
